Community Corrections is a state funded, county controlled intensive supervision probation (ISP) program designed to develop community-based correctional sentencing options for adult clients who would otherwise be incarcerated in local or state facilities.

Douglas County House Arrest was created to keep court approved individuals serving a sentence out of custody and living within the community while considering public safety and providing accountability.  

Pretrial Supervision is one of Douglas County’s alternatives to incarceration programs. Douglas County Pretrial Supervision seeks to reduce incarceration rates due to a person’s inability to pay bond.

The Douglas County Drug Treatment Court was established in January 2020 by Judge Kay Huff and the Drug Court Team. Drug Court is a four-phase treatment court for adults who are charged with felonies or have pending felony probation violations and have a substance use disorder. 

The Douglas County Behavioral Health Court was established to more effectively address the needs of defendants with serious mental illness who cycle through the court, detention, and mental health systems.
