Election Canvass
April 16, 2015
Gaughan called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, with Commissioners Gaughan and Thellman present. Commissioner Flory was absent. Gaughan moved to nominate Ken McGovern, Douglas County Sheriff, to replace Jim Flory, Thellman seconded The purpose of the Special Meeting was to canvass the results of the General Election held on April 7, 2015.
Gaughan moved to accept the one (1) no recommendation provisional ballot for time discretion of 7:01 p.m. and not count the four (4) later time discretion provisional ballots. Motion was seconded by Thellman and carried 3-0.
Gaughan moved to accept one hundred-twenty (120) provisional ballots as recommended by the County Clerk, and to not count twenty-one (21) ballots as
recommended by the County Clerk. Motion was seconded by Thellman and carried 3-0.

Gaughan moved to accept the write-in ballots. Motion was seconded by Thellman and carried 3-0.
Gaughan opened the meeting for public comment. No comment was received.
Gaughan moved to adjourn the meeting unless contacted by the County Clerk to reconvene for the prospect of provisional ballots or the recount order for USD289 election affecting the outcome of any race. Motion was seconded by Flory and carried 3-0
